DEVELOPING KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS FOR LIFETIME FINANCIAL SECURITY
Financial Literacy Course Description
The goal of this course is to make learning the basics of finance engaging, non-threatening, and easy to understand. An important financial asset for educators is PERSI—a defined benefit plan. Build a Financial Literacy Foundation
Develop a deep working knowledge of the PERSI Retirement System
Explore Pre-Tax Retirement Investment options for Educators
Review School District Benefits (sick leave accumulation rules, retirement health insurance)
